Established in 1987, RBA reflects the broad experience of its founder, Racine Berkow, the former head registrar of a major New York City museum. Ms. Berkow was a founding member and a regional officer of the Registrar’s Committee of the American Association of Museums. She is the author of the chapter on "International Shipping", in the Museum Registration Methods textbook, published by The American Association of Museums. For many years, Ms. Berkow served as a chairperson of the membership committee of ICEFAT (International Conference of Exhibition and Fine art Transporters). Ms. Berkow is currently a member of Arttable, Inc., and serves on the board of The American Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum. Ms. Berkow holds a BFA from Ohio State University and certificates in Air Cargo Transport, and Customs Brokerage from The World Trade Institute.
